This bar-restaurant with an Arab theme is located on the top level of a new commercial building in Santa Fe, Mexico Cities business area. The huge space with an 8 meter high ceiling was divided into a central nave with series of smaller pockets on both sides. These are separated from the main space by a double layer of transparent curtains, allowing a wide variety of arrangements for different occasions. The geometric patterns used in Arab architecture, were reinterpreted in the different finishing’s for the space: the blue and white floor tiles fill the whole surface and fold up unto the fixed furniture elements and in the back of the space a walnut wooden jealousy with an abstract pattern rises above the bar.
