The House in Montevideo is located on a plot of 12 by 40 meters between adjoining properties. The project is developed by dividing transversally a rectangular volume into 5 parts, which are spatially staggered from one another. By using a staggered organization we are able to compact the house, allowing natural ventilation and illumination to all spaces through a new lateral facade. In this same manner we manage to gradually generate ample heights in the ground floor interiors which open up toward the garden. The access to the house takes you toward a vestibule, from which a smooth change of levels can take you down to the public space or up to the private spaces.
